Q: Can I get a set of 3 painted on a single canvas instead of the triptych?
A: Yes, this is no problem just let me know the size you are looking for and I can give you the sizes available and the price.
Q. I love a particular design but want totally different colours to match with my docor, can this be done?
A. Yes, I can do any colours for you!
Q. I have a particular colour I want in my painting but not sure any of the paintings on your site seem to have the right colour…
A. If you would like to choose a paint colour from British Paints, Dulux or Taubmans (go to your local hardware store to look at the colours), I can match that colour for you, so you know exactly the tone it will be to match your doctor perfectly 🙂
Q. I need a size you don’t seem to have on your website, can I get a particular sized canvas?
A. If you let me know what size you are looking for, I will tell you the closest sizes I can do for you and the prices, I can get sizes other than those mentioned on the website.
Q. I want one of the “one off” abstracts but in a different size. I see that they are one off paintings, so is there no way I can have the same style in another size or colour?
A. I can paint a one off abstract for you, in a particular type of style or colours, but they will all be very different when finished. They are random in nature, so you will not get the same blending or patterns, but if you are happy to have something very individual, let me know the style you like and colours, and I can paint one, just for you 🙂
Q. I want to order five paintings, can I get a discount?
A. I keep my paintings priced as affordably as possible, so there is not a lot of room for bulk discounts. however, please contact me and advise what you would like to order and I will do my best to give you a better price.
Q. Do you have a studio that I can come and browse around?
A. Unfortunately, I do not have a studio right now, I try to keep costs as low as possible for my clients and therefore reduce overheads. I do have a selection of my artwork in a shop “Maci Collections” at Kiama, NSW ,and am happy for you to come to my home (close to Kiama) if you have some particular styles you would like to see in the flesh. I also attend various markets and festivals around NSW.
Q. I have a design I would like you to copy, can you paint it for me?
A. No, I only paint my own designs. I will have a look at a quilt cover or particular flower, for example, and may be able to do something to suit you to match in, but I will not copy another artists design. Please contact the original artist to have them paint it for you.
Q. Can I layby a painting? I would like to order something and pay it off over a few weeks.
A. ABSOLUTELY! I am very happy to layby for you, hold a painting for up to 3 months as long as regular payments are made, no matter how small.
Q. I want something for my friends birthday but not sure what style she would like best. What can I do?
A. I have gift certificates to any value, and there is no expiry date on them. Perfect for a unique present, and it means the recipient can choose their own artwork.
Q. Do you have hooks or string on the back of your paintings?
A. No, I do not string or put hooks in the back of my paintings, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I recommend using Velcro picture hangers which will attach to the back frame around your canvas, and then allow the canvas to sit flat against the wall. These can be removed with no damage to your wall, so the painting can be moved. Also hooks etc in the back of the frame can damage the canvas during transit when sending the painting. Thirdly, sets of 3 or more are very hard to get even when strung, as each string will be a little different in how tight it is, and therefore will hang a little lower or higher on the wall than another one in the set. I recommend the Velcro picture hangers again, (3M brand, from Bunnings, Big W, K mart etc) or they can be hung straight from the timber frames at the back if you would prefer to put a hook in the wall.
Q. Can I clean my painting?
A. The paintings can take a little bit of moisture so can be wiped over with a damp cloth if need be. You may find there is a little bit of colour on the cloth, this is just excess paint and will not affect the painting as long as they are not rubbed vigorously. The EXCEPTION to this is a metallic background (i.e – the whole painting would have a background of silver or gold) as metallic paint marks with moisture or even fingerprints etc. Please take EXTRA care with metallic backgrounds so as not to stain the artwork
